First he asked me what I ate before cyclocross, I answered nothing.
On saturday I ate waffles at 9:30am raced at 1:30pm, then ate a gel, then started the open race at 2:30. I got a little hungry around 3:15 when kyle skinner blew by me with 2 to go when I was sitting in 3rd. On Sunday, I didn't eat till 10:30am, and raced at 1:30 and 2:30 again, I felt better this way, probably couldn't eat much later though, I race pretty hard and it's impossible to get food to stay down racing.
Back to the article, I skimmed through it, then I saw he said something about beer not being a recovery drink, so I discounted his whole article.
