Melissa and I finished 2nd for the tandem class at the Gravel Wolds, 150 mile bike race. 10 hours, 50 minutes. 8 minutes behind 1st. Our front tires sidewall blew out on both sides 15 miles from the finish. It was hot all day.
We will go back next year, Cory and his crew put on an A+ event, like they do every year. The man stood there in the sun, on the side of the road shaking the hands of every finisher who came through.
