Got a new baby thursday. The boy's name is Ean. He's good so far, just likes to eat a lot...not much sleep but that is what I expected. Much less sleep for my wife too. I feel bad that she has all the work to do...but I feel good for the people that I have to interact with. I think I would have hurt someone by now if I were in her shoes.
Lots of cx clinics and training going on. Its crazy, especially in CO, Portland, and MA. Nothing really going on here. I'm glad. CX is hard, its a long season with Nationals in January. With the racing being this hard, I don't want to even sit on a cx bike until the 2nd week of september. Just the thought of it makes my legs hurt..in a good way.
Below is a picture of a new mtn. bike crank. Its a double, with 39/27 gearing. I'd say this is perfect for someone small. People with 170mm crank arms want to be able to turn gears well...but its hard when the smallest chainring is 34t. This brings it down to 27, that should be nice for a lot of ladies out there. Plus there only $85. They'll fit on any normal 68mm english shell cx bike.
