Road Swope with Joe. 8 miles at swope felt like the 40 mile hammer fest we do on the road saturday morning. The new section at the top is really cool, fast, flowy, a good place to take your lady if you have one.
Ended up not racing sunday, didn't have a good fork for good steering, air was lost in my rear tires, and brakes still needed work, plus it was hot.
Ended up doing a 1 hour recovery ride during Benon's nap. I haven't done one of these in years. Its hard to do. I'm used to pedaling hard all the time, then going to bed and waking up with my legs hurting....this needs to change if I want to get faster.
