170 POUNDS!

Well, I got home, found some batteries, popped them in the charger and went to sleep. Woke up, popped the batteries in the scale(scale had been out of commission for almost a year), and stood on it. 170, yup, no problem here. I was wondering why my pants and shirts still fit, how could I have gained 15 lbs. with my pants still fitting?

Still work to do, I have high blood pressure and resting heart rate is around 70, both those numbers need to go down alot. This means no more candy/pop, or at least not as much.

I'd like to be 162 by june, if I'm racing a lot this year it shouldn't be hard to do.

Monday night ride tonight! 6pm, leaves from 39th/bell for 1 hour of riding, then mccoy's $7 pitchers/pizzas/burgers.

  1. The recommended amount of fresh fruit and vegetable servings per day is 9! I challenge you to at least 5 for the next 3 weeks and then up to 7 servings. Doing that alone will help drop the weight, as well as help bring that high BP. Ideas on how to get those servings...I have 1 orange for an a.m. snack and 1 after lunch and then an apple around 4:30...that's an easy 3 servings right there.

  2. I hear that there is 1 full serving of vegetables in Chef Boyardee Raviolis

  3. I figure a nut diet would work. If it doesn't I'll try that fruit/vegatable you are talking about.

  4. Maybe that should be water and salad at McCoy's instead of the beer/pizza/burger
